Jean.Machine unveiled an exciting collaboration with Missoni during the men’s AW13 runway show last week in Milan. Jean.Machine’s signature styles were re-worked to feature iconic Missoni knit patterns (an amazing alternative to men’s colored denim for those who want to side-step obvious trends this year) on details such as pockets. Another favorite, the JM 4 jacket, was redesigned to include a detachable Missoni wool waistcoat on the inside. All styles will be available in early June from the Jean Machine website, Missoni stores worldwide, and other select retail locations.

Lily Aldridge was spotted recently in New York with her adorable newborn daughter Dixie, wearing a pair of Rag & Bone jodhpur jeans in midnight. She paired the jeans with a vintage-looking sweater and studded Chloe ankle boots. Denim Therapy has been donating unclaimed jeans to a good cause, and now we want you to see the results. Launched in November, 2011, the handbag project is a partnership between HaitiCorps International and FAVILEK (Fanm Viktim Leve Kanpe/Women Victims Get Up Stand Up), an organization dedicated to helping women who have been victims of gender-based violence.
Through the Handbag Project, HCI and FAVILEK will train women in sewing and other techniques and offer stable employment with a fair wage. A profit-sharing agreement between HCI and FAVILEK will ensure that the project remains responsive to the needs of Haitians themselves and will allow FAVILEK to expand its much-needed programs to more vulnerable women. Wrangler is releasing jeans that will take one step out of your morning beauty routine, provided you’re stepping into a pair of them. They’re moisturizing jeans, which, in theory, means smoother gams and happier you. Aptly named Denim Spa, they promise anti-cellulite components and moisturizers from natural elements like apricot kernel oil, rosehip oil, and passion fruit oil. Too good to be true? We’ll have to wait and see.
“The jeans—which will retail for $135 and be sold on ASOS—come in three different “finishes:” Aloe Vera, Olive Extract, and Smooth Legs (the supposed cellulite-fighter), but there is one caveat: The effects of the ingredients only last up to 15 days (around 67-95 wears), but a reloading spray will also available to buy.” (Stylecaster)
