Ready for Casual Friday? As you can tell here, Jessica Alba‘s love of denim is not constrained to her vast collection of colored jeans. Just recently she was snapped rocking a denim shirt on Instagram with her staff at The Honest Company. You can get her look simply by pairing it with a crisp shift dress like a Raoul Lara white capsleeve, and a MOTO slim fit denim shirt. A slim shirt will maintain a polished look. It’s a great Casual Friday option for all you who get to sit in an air-conditioned office all day.

“Denim Is Our World”? Um, we can relate to that. The folks at GUESS have launched a site with that very name, for denim fans to receive exclusive shopping event invites, behind-the-scenes videos, new tools, and trendsetter profiles. Show off your jeans love by uploading a photo of your stylish self decked out in your fave pair of GUESS jeans or hashtagging it #GUESSJEANS. For the craftier denim aficionados among us, you can show off how you do denim by repurposing or remixing a pair. Upload a pic to Pinterest, tag it #GUESSwhatimade, and Erica Domesek from P.S. I Made This will pick her favorites. What’s not to love when denim’s (already) your world?

Those of you who have fallen in love with the peplum trend and simply can’t get enough of this sophisticated, feminine silhouette is in for a treat: you can wear it with jeans. Absolutely! We recommend pairing a peplum top with a pair of skinny jeans and heels. This will give you that slim and curvy look that is so on trend right now. We think it has something to do with It Girl Victoria Beckham‘s trend-influencing style: peplum dresses and classy pencil skirts. We’ve pulled together some great pieces and a few jeans (of course) to help you get that look. Are you going to give it a go?

Agave Denim released their men’s and women’s fall 2012 lookbooks, featuring their usual spectrum of rich colors in innovative fabrications. What sets this release apart is that it’s Agave’s 10th anniversary, for which the husband and wife design team drew inspiration from the 1960s and the Olympics in Squaw Valley, CA.
Some highlights in the men’s collection include the Nihilist slim fit, Harp and Maverick limited edition selvedge styles, and a new bootcut, aptly named Bootist. Fabrications include kaihara and kuroki denim, as well as non-denim luxury fabrics like “Wolf Canvas” (100% cotton italian yarndyed canvas with rinse finish) and “Mad Plaid” (100% Italian moleskin with rinse finish).
Some highlights from the women’s line include the Tomboy skinny boyfriend fit jean, the slouchy Peace Corps trouser, and the Sophia high-rise pencil skirt. Fabrics are overdyed in a fall color palette with hues like Picante, Hunter Green,Tapioca, Pewter, Otter, and Rose dawn. An innovative indigo denim that has the look of raw, but a more comfortable hand, has also been introduced.

Jessica Alba pulled off a stunning look recently in a pair of Hudson LeeLoo Jeans and a floral-print blazer. The jeans were in bold contrast to her white knit top, and she accessorized with a simple silver necklace. A great example for a versatile look that can translate from work-to-dinner in a snap, you can easily imitate it with a pair of chic tuxedo jeans this fall.
