We had a chance to swing by the American Eagle Fall/Winter 2012 preview on 34th street yesterday, and we liked what we saw. We ascended via elevator into a luminous pastel-neon denim heaven, chocked with spectrum colored and printed jeans, mannequins adorned in AE-styling, and mini breakfast pastries making rounds on platters. We fell hard for a gorgeous array of colored corduroy skinnies and cut-off shorts in every hue. Check out our photos of the event below for more.

GQ’s editors rounded up their top picks for men’s denim recently. On their list? Classics like the Levi’s 511, and custom jeans from 3×1. Denim snobs will be pleased to see the likes of A.P.C. making two appearances as well. They go on to provide styling tips (like layering a denim jacket under a blazer), and declare that it’s OK to show off your package in a pair of skinny jeans. In fact, it’s not optional.

Free People found the best way to make their clothes pop was by contrasting their colorful attire with beautiful land and landmarks. Models Martha Hunt and Michele Ouellet traveled with the team to Vietnam to shoot a magnificent lookbook for the brand’s March editorial. The calming landscape evokes a sense of endless pacifism and provides the perfect backdrop to bring the bohemian brand’s style to life.
