We’re still slugging through the winter months, and what better way to perk up than looking at denim style inspiration? We’ve found five celebrities wearing denim looks that we absolutely adore–from fashion favorite Emma Roberts to J Brand-loving Jessica Alba to even a Disney Channel actress. (Surprised? Try not to be.) Check out the looks below!
Jessica Alba in J Brand
Even though it may not technically be springtime now, the weather still warrants fun approaches to color, which Jessica Alba nails by pairing her J Brand Kiki high-rise flares with a green blazer and a colorful striped top.
Rochelle Wiseman in Paige Denim
Even though she just finished with her final tour performance in Dublin in this photo, Rochelle Wiseman (from Brit-pop group The Saturdays) looks fresh–and oh so comfortable!–in her Verdugo ultra skinny jeans. Along with a nautical striped shirt, furry vest, and suede boots? We approve.
Fearne Cotton in Paige Denim
Sometimes, it’s the small touches that truly make a look, and so is the case with Fearne Cotton’s outfit. Her Paige Blue-colored jeans look rad with that chunky teal sweater, but her little plastic pin and burgundy neck bow truly make us this look quirky, cute, and so her.
Emma Roberts in Current/Elliot
It’s Valentine’s Day in two weeks and this is the perfect outfit! Emma Roberts wears her Current/Elliot high-waisted Eagle jeans with a loose, heart print button-up and a dose of red lipstick for a look that is romantic, but not too saccharine. Love! (Seriously, though.)
Debby Ryan in J Brand
We can’t get enough of punchy, tangerine orange jeans and we love how The Suite Life on Deck‘s Debby Ryan pared down her J Brand 811 Mid Rise Skinny Leg incarnation with a basic navy top, polka-dot scarf, and neutral accessories.

Truth’s out: Ombre is one thing we haven’t gotten sick of yet. We still love ombre hair, dip-dye bohemian skirts, two-toned bleached out workshirts, and denim like this: Rich & Skinny‘s new ombre colored skinny. Consider this at the top of our wishlist. The rest of the lookbook isn’t far behind, with super-pretty pastel colors and flirty styles that the ladies of DT can’t wait to try on. See our favorite looks below.

Winter hasn’t done much to distract us from thinking about summer this year, so we might as well embrace it. We’re all over Raven Denim‘s spring 2012 women’s lookbook, featuring easy poolside style with a bit of a vintage twist. Raven has quite the variety of flare leg jeans (will they make believers out of those of us who still haven’t pulled on a pair for more than one fitting?), from moderate flare to more dramatic approaches. Their skinnies, khakis, and cropped styles come in a basic run of classic hues. These are fresh, fit jeans that will look awesome with clean summer basic knits. Check out the offerings below.

North Carolina-based Raleigh Denim has come a long way from sewing jeans in their living room, but the company itself maintains its humility and authenticity by staying local and employing people from their hometown. For Spring-Summer 2012, you can expect no less than Cone Mills-loomed raw selvage jeans (red chain-stitch hemmed, of course), with an expanded offering of light colored jeans in cement, gray and natural. Their Grass colored jean is the only non-traditional hue in the mix. Featuring mostly a collection of straight leg jeans such as their Thin Fit, the collection is characteristically clean and slim fitting. If you need something with a bit more room, you might try their Work Fit, a regular fit straight leg.

1. MiH Jeans have release three new pastel shades for spring/summer (if you haven’t heard, pastel is coming on strong for the warm months). Shop various colored jeans by MiH in their colored denim online shop.
2. On the other hand, Earnest Sewn is releasing some pop-colors for spring in saturated, fruity hues. We guess it’s time to decide whether we’re wearing pop-colors or pastel this year! …Just kidding, we’re going to wear both.
3. Eat Sleep Denim has a guide for those of us who think about getting rid of our denim the moment we buy it. (Wait, what?!) It’s not as cruel as it sounds. In fact, it’s quite smart.
4. Tenue de Nîmes met up with Japanese denim brand Pure Blue Japan at Pitti Uomo and uncovered some covetable jems you’ll want to see up-close. Luckily, they got their camera right in there and captured the gritty, gorgeous details.

The Kardashian sisters may have just released their own denim line, but do you think these girls will actually wear it? Here Kim & Kourtney Kardashian opt for a more pricey (and far better constructed) pair of Bleulab Reversible Denim jeans while out and about in Beverly Hills. Kim wears the Detour Legging in Bleulead with Black Coating and Kourtney wearing her favorite Detour Legging in French Chalk wash.

Personalized denim is revolutionized with Scott Morrison’s denim boutique 3×1 in Soho. Morrison, a denim experimentalist, has been influencing the loom for sometime as the co-founder of Paper Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn. We recently met up with 3×1 at PROJECT NY for an up-close look at their custom denim services. Morrison recently opened up in an interview with Racked about his innovative denim bar that combines a chic aesthetic and the comfort of knowing what you are getting. Morrison describes, “people come in, they don’t know if it’s a fabric store or a jean shop or what, but this beautiful sea of denim is probably the most captivating thing.”
The space features glass floor-to-ceiling cubes where the denim construction takes place. Unique to any other company, 3×1 combines the precision and detail of factory work with the elegance of a pair of jeans that are tailored to perfection. 3×1 is complete with a collection of selvage denim like no other, is ready to customize your dream jean or revamp your worn and torn favorite pair. The craftsmanship and dedication to the denim process is reason alone to check out 3×1 and their form fitting fits.
