If you’ll be trimming the tree and then hitting the town for some ho-ho-holiday party action this year (maybe more than a few nights before the year is out), you’ll want to wear denim that accomplishes three things:
1. Catch eyes as they walk in the room.
2. Feel good while you’re cutting a rug.
3. Start conversations about “Omg-where-did-you-get-them”.
Here are nine pairs of jeans that win the “most likely to be caught on a dance floor” from a range of price points on the market right now. And remember, if you rip your jeans while you’re starting an aerobics-mosh-pit, we’re here for you.
1. SEVEN7 Metallic blue denim pants
2. Siwy Denim Hannah Cropped Glitter Skinny
4. Hudson Jeans Nico Mid Rise Super Skinny
6. SINCLAIR Coe Coated Foil Legging
7. P.A.R.O.S.H Sequinned Detail Jean
8. BLEULAB Detour Reversible Skinny

Jane Aldridge of fashion blog Sea Of Shoes has managed to keep a consistent level of great style and exciting product flowing in her blog since her rise to blogger stardom, and while her obsessions seem to be vintage clothing and (obviously) shoes, she has a keen eye for amazing jeans. Here she pairs Rich & Skinny‘s coated metallic Legacy Jean ($187—grab a pair here) with a Nordic sweater and hooded faux-fur trimmed jacket. Her Proenza boots sort of put the cherry on top of this outfit, but those on a budget, we love these black bootie heels as a substitute.

Denim Therapy’s expert denim repair service was featured in People Magazine‘s holiday gift guide! The series called out gifts for celebs and stars who could use them, and we were bestowed the honor of being an ideal gift for Kate Middleton! You’ll recall that she wore her J Brand jeans for days on royal business, and not even royal jeans can hold up forever.
“For the girl who isn’t afraid to recycle her denim (Kate once wore the same J Brand jeans three days in a row!), we’d treat her to a gift card to Denim Therapy, the company that repairs holes, wear, and scuffed hems. The Duchess could even use the credit to preemptively reinforce her favorite blues to avoid getting caught with an embarrassing tear.”
Looking for a way to extend the life of your jeans? We do jean repair on holes, tears, wear, zippers, belt-loops, and so much more. We also do tailoring, hemming, dying, and alterations for maternity. Check out our denim repair and alteration services for ways we can help your blue-jean-BFF’s stay in your life for the long run!
And Kate, if you’re reading, we’ll definitely help you out too. ; )

Only Nasty Gal could pull off sheer tops, bright jeans, denim cut-offs, and sparkly holiday dresses all in one lookbook and smack in the middle of December. Talk about a California Christmas! We love absolutely everything about this. The denim short shorts might be a bit far-fetched for this time of the season, but you could totally take the rest of these looks, throw on a cute coat and be good to go to any Holiday parties you might have lined up. Check out the full lookbook bellow!

We love the photography blog Jak & Jil—it’s a perfect example of how “street style” photography has evolved into something both more authentic (sans-posed photos and preconceived outfits), and more intense (the shots are full of models post-show with crazy hair, and many feature European fashion week go-ers who can afford some pretty epic attire). While trends like pastel hair and gem-covered shoes may come and go as you scroll through the pages, one thing keeps popping up over and over: great ways to style denim. All cameos by this dash of instant cool spark a host of ideas about layering, cuffing, distressing, and pairing. We recommend bookmarking.

We told you about this exciting collaboration between MiH Jeans and ShopBop in Denim Dose this morning, and now we’ve got the lookbook. This resort 2012 collection, inspired by 1970s Morocco, is denim through a jet-set lens. The daywear separates have soft silhouettes and light earthy colors, while the denim is frayed and features saturated, colorful embroidery that turn the whole set into a bohemian dream. Whether you’re planning to jump on a plane and escape this winter (or just wear some luxe jeans around the house), you’ll want to browse this gorgeous line for yourself.
The collection retails from $187 for the Marrakesh Short to $238 for the tie-front collarless Francoise Shirt. Other items include the classic Marrakesh mid-rise kick flare for $205, the Cap Ferret denim tunic for $229, A sheer Oversized shirt for $205 and cropped flare Monaco jean for $194.
