Stumped on what to give this year? Still? Seriously? Well, chew on this: a dose of Denim Therapy is a gift that virtually everyone would appreciate, from your bike-riding uncle to your teenage sister who drops $300+ on a pair of designer jeans. If dogs are man’s best friend, denim is man’s second-best friend, and now there’s no reason to retire your jeans just because your canine BFF chewed them to pieces. Denim that lives on through the years despite the turmoil it faces may sound like a dream come true—but that’s our point. DT is your denim faerie godmother! And now you can extend a piece of that same magic to anyone/everyone on your holiday shopping list with a gift card for some of our amazing denim services.
Holes + Tears. No matter how extreme we can fix any holes and torn denim. These problems could be the result of prolonged wear, an unfortunate snag, or a specific stress point.
Hardware. We replace zippers and buttons – up and down, left and right.
Maternity. Pregnant? We will work our magic by inserting expandable side inseams to move and grow with you. Now that’s what we call a haute mama!
Hems. Jeans too long? We can create the length you want so your jeans will look amazing (we provide regular and original hemming services).
Dying. Re-dye, stonewash or tie-dye your favorite jeans. We will give your already perfect-fitting jeans the perfect look, too.
Tailoring. Have ill-fitting jeans? We can make them look like they were made just for you!
Monogramming. Denim Therapy is now offering you the chance to “tattoo” your best blues the same way you would yourself!
How to give them…
Send in a pair of jeans to have them serviced, or score the lucky recipient of your denim-generosity a Denim Therapy gift card, good for any of our services. We promise they’ll be thrilled—you can’t go wrong with a gift that keeps giving!

Vangardist Magazine features the snood trend styled along with some cool denim looks in this short editorial. We ain’t gonna lie, we’re not exactly one hundred percent sure how to feel about these animal ear furry scarf-hat hybrids, but one is certain: they sure look warm and fuzzy (and we dig the Navajo print details!). Chances are we won’t be in a hurry to get our hands on one, but you can be sure that if we ever do we’ll sport it with something along the lines of these casual-cool denim looks!

We had a visit at the Siwy Denim showroom last week to browse the holiday and spring lines. As usual, Siwy is doing something different than the rest, with head-turning sequins, exciting textures, pop-colors, and lace-applique. They’re our go-to line forcut-off shorts (remember the shorts we’re psyched about wearing this spring?) and the minty/fruity hues that are set to hit stores in the spring have us wanting to turn the clock forward. Check out our favorite picks from the holiday & spring lines below.

Flare jeans are making a comeback, but what do you wear them with in the colder months? Check out what this ShopBop stylist recommends to make sure you looking cool and cozy.
Q: It’s officially winter, and I go nowhere without a heavy coat. How can I pair parkas and flares without looking too bulky?
A: Again, keep things minimal and linear. Try a longer jacket with clean lines, hitting at the mid-thigh or knee. A wool trench coat is great, especially belted!

Chances are you’re going to be hitting up a holiday party or two in the next few days and you’ll want to sport some killer denim threads. Not sure how to give your favorite denim pieces a formal spin that is totally holiday party appropriate? No worries! We’ve put together a couple of looks for some holiday style direction. Although wearing denim to formal events might not be as taboo as it once was we know that it can still be a tad bit tricky. The key is to style formal separates with your denim. But simply pairing a blazer with a pair a jeans isn’t going to cut it. Add interest and youth to your look by adding unexpected patters, textures, and small pops of color. Check out the looks bellow!

Welcome to your morning dose of denim news, links, sales, and other irresistible glimpses of inside info. 1. Tangerine tango is the freshest color of the new year (according to Pantone, at least) and Dylan George‘s mid-rise skinny jeans are way ahead of the 2012 curve with their Keira style in coated mango.
2. As a face of DKNY Jeans, Ashley Greene unveiled her simple, pared-down spring 2012 ad in Times Square. It’s hard to get any bigger than that!
3. Take a moment to forgive yourself for the sins of denim outfits past. Then watch this 1987 JC Penney Fashion Flash video and LOL at the “pulled-together denim looks” without a hint of guilt.
4. In eco-friendly denim news, Replay Jeans now replicates the look of worn-in, vintage jeans with a “Laser Wash” that utilizes no water and no sandblasting. Instead, they’re using ozone washing machines. How high-tech–and downright cool–does that sound?
5. Norwegian label Anti Denim has teamed up with heavy metal band 1349 for a new collection of limited edition, custom-made jeans that are made to rock out in.

The Autumn/Winter 2011 G-Star Correct Line “Midnight Collection” is out, so if you’re still searching for the perfect holiday gifts, look no further. This collection is full of creative options for evening wear, but better than what you’re used to because of G-Star’s efforts to include new silhouettes and fabric choices. You can be sure that when you’re wearing anything from this line, you are sure to be the most talked about in the room (in a good way of course!). While the blue and black palette remind us of G-Star’s denim roots, it also makes these pieces extremely easy to pair with staple items in your closet, like black leather boots. Our favorite look from the collection has to be the NY RAW runway inspired dress, the Kalahari Dress. See the comparison below and shop for the rest of the items in stores or online at G-Star.
