NYC, college students, parties, random hookups and a pair of missing jeans, come full circle in MTV’s new original series I just want my pants back, a television remake of David J Rosen’s (who also happens to be the show’s producer) famous novel. The show follows Jason Strider a 20 something yr old college graduate who has an unexpected one night stand with Annie, who then borrows his jeans in a rush and only to never return them. Annie’s contact information turns out to be erroneous, leaving Jason with no apparent way to find her. Thus leading to the seemingly never-ending quest for Jason’s jeans and so to speak, himself along the way. Set in Greenpoint Brooklyn, this comical and quite amusing, coming of age series, makes our relationship with our denim just that much stronger. (Who would have thought all that conviction and love would go into getting our favorite pair of jeans back?) Full season episodes are set to start this coming January, we’ll be watching, will you? You’re running out of time to wear white denim if you believe in the “no white after labor day” rule (we don’t, actually). But whether or not your white jeans have an expiration date this season, it’s worth knowing how to rock them properly. White can be one of the most intense statements you can make in an outfit, giving an air of resort-wear and a bit of expensive taste. Tonya from Shopbop’s blog tells us how she pairs her white denim for a knock-out outfit:
For an easy take on bright separates, I’ll pair white skinny jeans with a punchy tank in turquoise, coral, or orange and balance the look with understated flat sandals in nude. Or I’ll take my cue from the Alexander Wang spring runway and play with white-on-white–a basic T by Alexander Wang tank and white Siwy shortswill feel unexpected while beating the summer heat. Though casual at first glance,white jeans can be dressed up. Pair flared white J Brand jeans with a tucked-in nude tank, a blush blazer, and wood-bottom shoes for a mixed-neutrals look that wouldn’t feel out of place on a lunch date.

Cat Deeley, the host of So You Think You Can Dance (in case you didn’t know she is a huge celeb across the pond) was spotted rocking airport-chic fashion in this shot of her derriere in HUDSON May skinny jeans. Spending a day with mom might be a reason not to have to dress to impress but that was not the case with Rachel Bilson.
