Not that I want these pair of Orisue jeans for myself, because these are indeed jeans for guys — it’s a definite head turner — I just help but admire it. We can all appreciate design when it seems out-of-the-ordinary, no? Named for the ancient art of origami, Orisue (the old name for this art), is a company built on the same design philosophy, expressed through apparel.
I can’t remember any other denim label that produces fold-over front pockets like this. The heavy, sturdy look of the jean says “I’m too pretty for prison, but I can handle a few scuffs.” These jeans are definitely stylish and a bit polished, even though it is considered “street wear.” Do you wear it with a button down Jil Sander shirt or an Ed Hardy-esque teeshirt? Do you mix it up with a pair of flashy Alejandro Ingelmo high-tops, or low-profile Cole Haan leather loafers? However you dudes choose to dish it out, this denim marvel is sure to be a conversation piece wherever you go.
